We have lined up some excellent films including the much talked of film
"Gulabi Aaina" - by Sridhar Rangayan.

The Schedule

1:30 pm - Nico & Dani
"Nico and Dani" is a portrait of adolescent experience set against the blazing sun and azure sea of a small seaside town near Barcelona. During ten days of freedom, two best friends discover love, sex, jealousy and disenchantment and thus cross that vague border separating adolescence from manhood. "Nico and Dani" explores the sexual and emotional confusion of two boys who have always shared everything and are now about to be pulled apart because of their diverging sexual identities. Deftly directed by Cesc Gay, "Nico and Dani" is arguably the finest and the most honest coming-of-age drama in recent memory

3:30 pm - But I'm A Cheerleader
Confident and opinionated, 17-year-old Megan is a high school student who has it all. She's popular, pretty, a model student, dates the captain of the football team and is a cheerleader. But she's also a vegetarian, likes Georgia O'Keefe and hates kissing her boyfriend, leading her horrified parents to conclude that she's... a lesbian! Their solution is to send Megan to True Directions, a "rehabilitation camp" run by homophobic counselor Mary Brown. At first, Megan resists "rehabilitation." Then she meets Graham, a sexy tomboy who shows her exactly what her "true direction" is.

5:30 pm -  Gulabi Aaina
Scripted and Directed by Sridhar Rangayan
"Gulabi Aaina (The Pink Mirror) is the first Hindi narrative film about Indian drag queens.... A slice-of-life story about two Indian drag queens - their laughter, tears, passion and pathos. A riotous spicy mix of dance, drama and desire! Bollywood recipe served with sensitivity!" Sridhar

6:30 pm -  Big Eden
Big Eden is a tiny town tucked away in northwest Montana, where cowboys lounge on the porch of the general store to pass the time away. It's also the childhood home of Henry Hart, a successful but lonely New York artist, who returns after years away to care for his ailing grandfather.
Back home, Henry confronts his unrequited passion for his high school best-friend and his feelings about being gay in a small town. Warmed by the openess and affection of old friends, in tiem Henry finds new possibilities for friendship and romance.

NOTE :

  1. The films will are excellent original copies on DVD & VHS.
  2. A day of three films, maximum of four films - beyond that it gets exhausting.
  3. The films are NOT pornographic. Only good, clean gay films.
  4. GB as a support group, has created this comfort space/event for gays, many of whom may be "newbies" (those still coming to terms with their sexuality and who have mustered courage to come for such a meeting for the first time). So we request you to be sensitive to the comfort levels of others attending this event and behave and dress accordingly.
