            The PROGRAM

REGULAR GUYS
Directed by Rolf Silber; 1996; 1 hour 42 minutes.

Synopsis:
Macho detective Christoph (Christoph M. Ort) is dumped by his fiancée, gets drunk, and wakes up in bed with Edgar (Tim Bergmann), a gay car thief. Though he's not sure what transpired, he needs a place to stay, so he moves in with Edgar. Christoph makes it known to his new roommate that he is straight, but Edgar is relentless in his advances. Christoph's new home life also proves to give the wrong idea to everyone around him but he still manages to embark on a budding romance with Helen, his pretty coworker. This unusual German production deftly combines the romantic comedy and crime genres to an audience-pleasing end.

COWBOYS & ANGELS
Directed by David Gleason; 2004; 1 hour 32 minutes.

Synopsis:
Shane Butler (Michael Legge) is a handsome but geeky 20 year old who feels that life is passing him by. A talented artist who longs to go to art school, he spends his days stuck in a horrible job behind a desk in the civil service. When he moves into an apartment in Limerick City with Vincent Cusack (Allen Leech), a gay fashion student, things begin to look up. Despite being polar opposites on almost every level, Shane and Vincent soon become close friends.
Vincent's artistry, evident in everything he puts his hand to, inspires Shane to greatness. When he meets and falls in love with Gemma (Amy Shiels), an ex-art student and best friend of Vincent's who now works in a fast food joint, he feels compelled to make some radical changes to his life.
