The Taj Intercontinental

Taj IntercontinentaL
[Belongs to the famous Taj group of hotels ]
Apollo Bunder
Opp Gateway of India
Colaba
Bombay -400001

Décor and Place

Situated opposite the famous landmark of Bombay The gateway of India or in simple gay terms THE WALLS. One of the famous inhouse restaurants of the Taj Hotel. Excellent décor and very comfortable sittings. This restaurant has the best Chinese food in town . Beats all the chinese joints in India and has won many awards to proove it. They have maintained their quality and service all these years without any hiccups [ very difficult to do so for restaurants in Bombay ].

Staff

Amazing hunks serving you here ,a visual delight where the staff and guests are concerned.Perfect ,courteous and prompt service and would wish they could service a little bit more after dinner.[wish wish wish ].

Food

Had the Golden fried Prawns ,Pepper Squids and Crispy Vegs in the starters and they were all fabulous. Supremes of Chicken in Peking sauce, Seafood Noodle Platter ,Crispy Lamb ,Broccoli in a mild sauce alongwith the Burnt Garlic Fried Rice WERE JUST MOUTHWATERING .Good quantities also .In Dessert you just have to try the Lichhee Toffees with Vanilla Ice cream. Excellent food enjoyed everything throughly, absolute no room for any sort of complain .

Pricing

As it belongs to a Five star Deluxe Hotel the prices are very expensive and could work out to RS 1000/- Per head [ exclusive of alcohol ] ,but definitely worth it.

Worth Going Back ?

Definitely any time ,anyday . Not worth missing.
