The Gay Housing Assistance Resource for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. G.H.A.R. is a cyber resource that puts gay people (who want a place to stay in) in touch with other gay people who have a place to offer, by an exchange or pool of email ids. The issue of accomodation is an acute one, and is very time-sensitive. GHAR - Bombay is primarily a resource for gay Bombayites who want to/have to/choose to live alone, for a long duration (of months-years) of time and want to do so with their heads held high. There are of course many visitors from abroad who are looking for accomodation with queer or queer-friendly hosts for a few days/weeks and it is indeed great if they avail of GHAR
